Pastor Joseph gave us 5 things that God had given to him to grow the Church and serve the Milton Keynes Community – showing Jesus and the Church in Action. He expressed the need for us ALL to be behind him in them and not to leave it to him or the elders only. The 5 things were ……

Evangelism - to those who don’t know God yet, moving in the miraculous and manifesting the power of God as we pray for them. Go to each estate in turn with an outreach programme of tracts with an invitation to a gospel meeting on each estate.

 

Praying with Christians with medical issues. Supporting them but not encouraging them to change church.

 

Preaching festival – to be an all-day annual event open to all churches and Christians in MK for anyone to come and preach from the Bible for 20mins. This will start to fulfil the word that we will become “A house on a hill” visible from a long way off.

 

Enhanced Soup run – putting scripture on food and drink wrappers and to increase the help we give to the homeless. We will be able to be effective when we have our own building. More on this later.
